MDI is looking for two dedicated and committed personnel for the position of Senior Library Assistant.

MDI's Library is a hybrid library with modern technological applications. The Library holds a rich and up-to-date collection of over 60,000 print as well as electronic resources which includes books, journals, audio-visual materials, training videos, databases, etc. The eLibrary portal includes a number of online databases and collectively provides access to over 13,000 fulltext online journals.

As Senior Library Assistant, an incumbent is expected to function in various sections of the library department. Since the Library is open 24 × 7, the incumbent should be willing to work on week-ends and night-shifts.

Qualification and Experience
M.Lib. Sc. / B.Lib. Sc. with minimum 60% marks or equivalent from a reputed Institute and a minimum of 5 years of post qualification experience in the relevant field.

Pay Band:
Rs. 9300-34800 plus Grade Pay of Rs. 4600
